Without trying to reinvent it, Affalé questions the way we seat by redefining the constraint that the chair imposes on its user. The shell is an asymmetrical and fluid invitation to sit, suspended over the ground through a minimalist steel base.

CONCEPTUAL IDEA
S'asseoir comme on respire.
Humans sit everywhere, in every conceivable way, on steps, streets, and floors. When they sit on chairs, they often defy the designer’s intentions, their organic instincts clashing with imposed constraints.
INSPIRATION
Une pièce de vie.
Furniture is built to experience life, to change in use and evolve as its owners grow. The moment it's made, it leaves the designer's realm and becomes part of individual lives.
